_ Game : divide the class into 2 teams : A _ B.
_ Give a picture of 6 activities in 3 seconds → Ss look at the picture & have 1 minute to write down “these activities”.

Unit 1 _ Reading.
_ Help Ss understand some new words before reading the text silently & do some tasks.
Vocab. : using pictures.
lead (v) _ lead the buffalo to the field
plough (v) ; pump (v) ; harrow (v)
_ Give Ss 2 minutes to read the text silently.
_ Activity 1 : do task 1 / page 13. → give feedback.
_ Activity 2 : work in groups of 4 / handouts : scan the passage and make the brief note about Mr Vy and Mrs. Tuyet’s daily rountines.

_ Activity 3 : work in pairs _ ask and answer questions. ( do task 2 / page 15 )
→ feedback : ask 6 pairs of Ss to ask and answer if Ss have problem, others can help.
_ Activity 1 : work in groups of 4 ( each group has a leader ) _ use “ the brief note ” _ ( task 3 ). ( talk about Mr Vy and Mrs. Tuyet daily routines.
_ Activity 2 : work in pairs _ talk about your father or mother ‘s daily routines.
_ Practise reading.
_ Write a short passage about your father / mother ‘s daily routines.

_ Team work _ Look at the picture, write down these activities in the picture.
