Game : What is it ?
T divides class into 2 teams : A and B.
T shows the pictures and ss give answers. One point for one correct answer. Which team having more points will win the game.


T introduces the pronunciation of two consonants / b / and / p /
T leads to the new lesson.

T reads the words and asks ss to listen and repeat.
T reads the sentences on page 110 and asks Ss to listen and repeat.
Checking :
T numbers 1 for / b / and 2 for / p /

T shows a picture and asks Ss to make sentences beginning with “the teacher” and “the students”

T writes two sentences on the board and asks “Which voice is the second sentence?”
- T reminds Ss the forms, the meaning of the passive voice.
* Form:
be + past participle

- Present simple : is / am / are + p.p
- Present perfect : has / have + been + p.p
- Past simple : was / were + p.p
- Past perfect : had been + p.p
- Future : will be + p.p
- Present progressive : is / am / are + being + p.p
- Past progressive : was / were + being + p.p

* Meaning: passive

1. Activity 1: (Exercise 1 / p.111)
T asks Ss to do the exercise individually
T calls some ss to give answers.

2.Activity 2 : Complete the sentences using the words provided.
- T asks ss to work in pairs , complete the sentences using the words provided.
- T calls some ss to write their sentences on the board.

Game : Lucky Numbers
T divides class into 2 teams : A and B
T asks each team in turn to choose a number and make sentence with the picture , using The passive voice.
( One point for one correct sentence.Number 5 is the lucky number. Any team having lucky number will get 2 points. )
